SABRE-TP

Swiss Animal Breeding Technology Platform (SABRE-TP)

The SAAS operates the animal breeding platform SABRE-TP with the aim of better networking experts from animal breeding organisations and research institutions across animal species. Thematically, however, the platform is limited to quantitative genetics, molecular genetics and genomics. The existing animal species-specific committees should be complemented in a meaningful way.

The platform was founded on 21 June 2012 at the University of Bern. At least once a year, the SABRE-TP organizes a workshop for experts to exchange information on current and especially planned R&D projects. If necessary, further meetings on current topics can be organised.
